Appreciation of the Dr. Bali Yoga Method
Dr. Bali is an ocean of calm. His warmth and expansive energy radiate to those around him, and his positivity and accepting nature have a healing touch. As a student in the Teacher Training and Happiness Programmes, as well as in private consultation, something I have found very helpful is the fact that Dr. Bali’s mastery of meditation – his focus, and consequent wisdom in action, and simplicity of purpose – is contagious. In his classes and by his example, I am better equipped to pare down mental clutter than I have been before. With more frequent moments of clarity come benefits in all concerns of life, from the petty to the more valued and consequential. In mundane but essential parts of life, I prioritize and plan better; in more creative and spontaneous moments, I connect and communicate more fully with others and with myself. The insights Dr. Bali helps to uncover are at the same time the simplest and the most elusive of all.
Dr. Bali’s course provided a depth to the quality of Hatha Yoga teacher’s training that is hard to find in North America; the basis of the course was the Patanjali Sutras which is the purest definition and means of Yoga. Dr. Bali’s emphasis on how this ancient knowledge can be used to find health solutions in our modern day to day life in prevention of diseases is what makes the course unique and invaluable.
This is for all the non believers, my brain tumor was discovered in January 2016 ..may 2 2016 I had surgery that removed half of the tumor shown on the far left. 2 months after the surgery (middle picture) doctor’s said sorry tumor is still growing and pretty fast.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and went natural….natural mean …nothing processed, no soy, no gluten, no sugar, organic and nothing with pesticides..adding supplements to my every day routine, juicing and more, I even changed my products to wash my hair, body and face.
Started Dr. Bali regenerative yoga and meditation.
Today I saw the results of all my hard work. The last picture shows my tumor shrank 1 cm in 3 months since I started my journey. My doctor was stunned! I want to be that patient he always remembers.

More thanks… Antonio Bertone my rock. My mom. Everyone who has been praying for me. I will continue to work hard until this tumor completely disappears! Almost forgot to thank Dr.Sirhan …my neuro surgeon. God put him in my path. He saved my face from parálisis and I am so thankful to him. Also my friends at the brain tumor institute meetings …they got me through the worst depression of my life.
As I told you last week, I had good news out of my last test results relative to the follicular lymphoma that I have. Two years after diagnosis, I am doing better than ever. Even my oncologist has changed her speech. She seems to think that it could be cured in my case even though it is normally incurable. I have been following a very disciplined method where I changed my entire lifestyle, going from living 100 mph to be much more aware. I changed my eating habits, exercise routine being more gentle, taking vitamin D and practicing yoga and meditation. It seems that all this is helping tremendously my condition, all that without medical treatment. My blood work is great and the inflammation keeps diminishing. Just wanted to share this with you as my yoga classes have surely benefited me in a big way.
I was inspired by our meeting at your IIIHS Conference years ago. I am now facilitating a video course on “Cultural Literacy for Religions” at the senior community in Arizona in which I live. Memories of you and other wise teachers from the wisdom traditions inspire me to share the beauty of all traditions.

The beauty of Dr. Bali’s teacher training course is the healthy encouragement given to students to find their own strengths to experience a deep personal transformation on all levels with daily yoga practice. We learn to fill in the gaps with information and knowledge that western yoga teaching has overlooked and go beyond merely postures with in-depth study to find true meaning
and real values of the Sutras.

The feedback that I am getting is that my students feel better in their bodies and in their minds. They are telling me already that they feel younger and happier, more supple and more strong. (One woman even told me that it cured her sore throat!) I feel so honoured to be able to share this practice with them, and I wanted to let you know that your teachings are making a real difference.
Dr. Bali’s yoga certification program in 2006 was an important part of my personal growth in spirituality. It opened the door for exploring my spirituality further and developing my personal leadership. Since that time my husband and I moved out of the province. In September 2013 we transferred our lives to British Columbia to further the company I started 3 years ago in Montreal. The principles of the Dr. Bali method have kept me focused; open to possibilities and given me the awareness to let things happen. Both my husband and I practice yoga every morning using Dr. Bali’s method. It helps us to reduce stress and stay present. In my work as a personal leadership expert I apply the principles in my approach to working with people and organizations on their leadership and communication skills. I have deep gratitude that Dr. Bali has been part of my life.
